Private & Public Gardens of England

Join Charles for a spectacular tour of some of the finest public and private gardens of southern England, featuring vibrant-colored plant palettes, rich textures, unusual shapes, and old-world architectural and water features.

Some gardens on the agenda may include: The Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, Wisley, Sissinghurst, Great Dixter, and several other private garden jewels.  We might even manage to make a special visit to the private garden of HRH The Prince of Wales’ Highgrove House Gardens, The Chelsea Flower Show and Stonehenge!  (Final itinerary will be confirmed in the Fall of 2022.)

Our visit will be timed for maximum color at peak bloom, and Charles will teach you how to craft a truly great intimate garden landscape photograph and capture the essence or “spirit” of a garden using a digital camera (or smartphone).   In addition, he will share Impressionistic garden photography techniques to help you go beyond the documentary garden photograph and cover macro flower photography methods.
